Railpath Triangle

Along the railpath there are 4 sculptures by Toronto artist John Dickson. Each consists of a steel frame in a different shape with galvanized expanded steel stretched over it and as a group they are titled "Frontier" and are meant to reflect the changing landscape of the railpath as the plantings develop. I have to say that I think the face that someone has added to this one is one of the best parts of the piece!

I'd really like to walk along that rail path.

I'm curious, the idea od sculptures made to to reflect the changing landscape of the railpath are very interesting, it must be fun to follow their development. There are two places I always go, Ibirapuera Park (the one with Niemeyer's projects) and the Botanical Garden, and I love to see all the differences along the year. ;-)

Wow, art altered by art, how cool. Wonder what the original artist thinks.

I figured the face was part of the sculpture, I like it too, both sculpture and the face.

It is going to be one sad sculptor if he reads these comments and learns that people like the graffiti more than his sculpture!!!

That is wonderful!

Interesting structures but, without the face it might be a little plain.
